The Region, the Department and the Municipality are associated to form a public establishment, the Syndicat Mixte de la Grande Dune du Pilat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His role ? The Public Management<\/strong> of the lands of the Grand Site, in particular those entrusted by the Conservatoire du littoral. Alongside its partners, the Syndicat Mixte works on a daily basis to preserve these fragile environments<\/strong>, ensure their valuation<\/strong> and their visit<\/strong> in the best possible conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Syndicat Mixte is administered by a Syndicate Committee made up two representatives from each community<\/strong>. Since 2016, the regional councilor, Nathalie Le Yondre, has been the President of the establishment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
