This Wednesday, June 4, the extension of the 600\u00b0 exhibition, present in the reception area of the Dune until the end of the All Saints' Day holidays, was inaugurated in the presence of the President of the Grand Site de France project of the Dune du Pilat, the LesAssoci\u00e9s collective, elected officials and partners.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A wooden pavilion to remember, learn and build differently<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Since May, in the reception area of the Dune du Pilat, a New wooden pavilion presents the extension of the \u201c600\u00b0\u201d exhibition<\/strong> visible at the Marqu\u00e8ze Ecomuseum, in the Landes. A poignant dive into the consequences of the 2022 fires that devastated southern Gironde. Led by the collective of photographers Les Associ\u00e9s<\/strong> with the support of the Landes de Gascogne Regional Natural Park, this exhibition is much more than a tribute: it is a photographic investigation of the aftermath of the fire<\/strong>, the resilience of landscapes and inhabitants, and the need to rethink our relationship with the forest and construction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An exhibition born from collaboration and innovation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The pavilion that houses the exhibition is the result of a international workshop<\/strong> bringing together architecture students (France, Japan, Ukraine), companions from the National Federation of Companions of the Tour de France and the FCBA Technological Institute. Together, they designed a removable, temporary structure built from Landes pine, in resonance with climate issues and the need to build differently. This project, at once symbolic, technical and poetic, embodies a new way of thinking about resilient architecture and the memory of the territory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

600\u00b0: a photographic investigation into the aftermath of the fire<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u201c600\u00b0\u201d exhibition is based on more than two years of work by the LesAssoci\u00e9s collective<\/strong>, mobilized since September 2022. Six photographers <\/strong>surveyed the territories of La Teste and Landiras, hard hit by the fires, to document the transformation of the landscapes, the coexistence between common goods and private property, the resilience of nature and the diversity of the inhabitants. The project brings together photographs, videos, sounds and more than 80 hours of testimonies collected from residents, elected officials and professionals of the burned forest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The notion of " mosaic forest<\/strong> \u00bb runs through the exhibition: it evokes biodiversity, social diversity and the complexity of the challenges linked to the reconstruction of the largest forest massif in Europe. The images, taken using various techniques (digital, film, drone, view camera), interact with portraits and landscapes, between devastated pine forests, miraculously preserved groves and trees stranded on the region's lakes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An exhibition accessible to all<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Installed in the reception area of the Grande Dune du Pilat, in the commune of Landiras and close to the Porte des Landes Ouest motorway service area (A63), these cabins constitute a network throughout the 2022 fire zone<\/strong>This device is accompanied by an exhibition at theMarqu\u00e8ze Ecomuseum<\/strong> (Sabres, Landes), through a book, a synthesis of all the photographic production of the project and through a documentary film to which the testimonies of the inhabitants are associated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A collective tribute and an invitation to reflection<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through this exhibition, the Dune of Pilat becomes a place of memory, transmission and experimentation<\/strong>The wooden pavilion, designed to be removable and environmentally friendly, symbolizes the desire to build differently in the face of climate challenges. The "600\u00b0" exhibition invites each visitor to question reconstruction, the preservation of the common good, and the resilience of territories and their inhabitants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
