Much more than a large pile of sand, the Dune du Pilat is a wonder of Nature! It offers a spectacular landscape over the mouth of the Arcachon Basin, the Banc d'Arguin National Nature Reserve and the forest. The impacts of the terrible fire of summer 2022 are clearly visible from the crest of the Dune.
To better understand the riches of this changing heritage, the team at the Grand Site de la Dune du Pilat offers educational activities in the reception area within the discovery cabin and nature activities on the Dune!
