Our mediators answer these questions and accompany you to the top of the highest mountain of mobile sand in Europe, while feasting you on anecdotes about the natural and cultural heritage linked to this territory.

The number of participants is limited to 15 people. Wearing a mask is compulsory, from 6 years old. Barrier gestures must be respected.

Guided hikes on the dune of Pilat and the Banc d'Arguin
For a day, discover the dune of Pilat and the Banc d'Arguin. This is the opportunity for you to discover two exceptional sites, their history, their evolution, or to learn more about the fragile animal and plant species that flourish there.
Good physical condition is compulsory, not recommended for children under 12 years old.
The boat crossing is the responsibility of the participants.
- Adults (over 12 years old): € 12 round trip.
- Children (4 to 12 years old): € 9 round trip.
- Young children (0 to 2 years old): free round trip.
Every Wednesday in July / August at 10 a.m.
“An outing not to be missed, especially if you are near the sites without really knowing them.”
This path allows you to discover the Grand Site from a different perspective. You immerse yourself in the forest and its ecosystem, before joining the main path leading to the foot of the dune of Pilat. Several desks line the course, giving explanations on the fauna and flora, but also on the history of this particular forest.
