Walk, storytelling and nature outing

The nature guides and facilitators invite you to explore the landscapes of the Dune du Pilat through several thematic events, accessible to all:

Guided nature hike “Botany at the Dune du Pilat, small flowers and large adaptations”.

On Thursday, May 22, explore the dune flora alongside a botanist from the South Atlantic National Botanical Conservatory and a site ranger. This nature outing will reveal the surprising strategies plants use to survive in an extreme environment, while raising awareness about preserving this fragile ecosystem.

Guided storytelling walk

On Saturday, May 24, enjoy a stroll combining stories and scientific discoveries to understand the constant evolution of the Dune, its movement in the wind, and the mysteries of its sand from elsewhere. A friendly moment, ideal for young and old, to discover the history of the site.

Guided tour

On Sunday, May 25, come (re)discover the Dune during a guided walk. The guides will share with you the keys to understanding this fragile ecosystem.
