Accessibility
The Syndicat Mixte de la Grande Dune du Pilat undertakes to make its websites, intranet,
extranet and its accessible software packages (and its mobile applications and street furniture
digital) in accordance with Article 47 of Law No. 2005-102 of February 11, 2005.
To this end, the Syndicat Mixte de la Grande Dune du Pilat is implementing the strategy and the
following actions:
- Publication of the multi-year accessibility plan (in progress);
- Publication of action plans 2025 – 2027 (in progress).
This accessibility statement applies to the site www.ladunedupilat.com.
Compliance Status
The site www.ladunedupilat.com is not in conformity with the General Improvement Framework
of Accessibility (RGAA), version 4 due to non-conformities and derogations
listed below.
Test results
The compliance audit carried out by the company AccessProd reveals that:
- 38.89 % of the RGAA version 4.1.2 criteria are met;
- The average compliance rate of the online service is 53.5%. This is the
average of the compliance rate obtained on each of the pages in the sample.
This percentage corresponds to: - 44 non-compliant criteria;
- 28 compliant criteria;
- 34 criteria not applicable.
Content not accessible
Non-conformities
- Not all images are correctly ignored by technologies
assistance when they are decorative. - Not all text alternatives for images are relevant or informative.

- Some tables are used to format content.
- Some links are not explicit and are poorly vocalized by technologies
assistance. - Some scripts need to be fixed to be compatible with technologies
assistance and keyboard navigation, such as:
o the main navigation menu of the site, in desktop and mobile versions;
o the filter system;
o many interface buttons;
o tabbed display systems;
o check boxes and radio buttons;
o the search bar input suggestions;
o display systems in folding blocks of the “accordion” type;
o certain modal windows displaying information or functionality
above the page content. - Alert or status messages displayed in real time without reloading the
- page when submitting forms are not rendered correctly.
- The source code of the pages is not always valid and can cause problems
restitution. - Texts in a language other than the default language of the page are not
identifiable as such. - The title of the search page (browser tab) is not shown.
- Structure tags are used to display paragraphs of text.
- Empty paragraphs are used for presentation purposes only.
- Some heading levels do not follow a logical order, causing errors in
hierarchy between titles. - The footer area and breadcrumbs are not structured correctly.

- Some tags and attributes used for the presentation of information are
present in the generated source code of certain pages. - Some text disappears or is not readable when the font size or

used. - Some links are not visible enough compared to the surrounding text.
- Keyboard navigation is not always visible.
- Some blocks do not display fully when the window width is
decreased to 320px. - Custom tooltips cannot be closed without moving the pointer from the
mouse or focus. - Some form fields do not have labels correctly associated or they
are not relevant. - Some fields of the same nature are not grouped together.
- Some forms do not have any indication of required fields.
- Automatically filling form fields containing data from
the user is not compliant. - The footer and navigation areas are not identifiable and cannot
- therefore not be reached or avoided.
- The tab order is not always consistent.
- Keyboard navigation of the main menu in mobile or reduced screen version continues
in the rest of the site while the component is still displayed. - Not all downloadable files are compatible with all technologies.

Content not subject to the accessibility obligation
Some content is exempt from the accessibility requirement and is outside the scope of
the legal obligation. The interactive map of the “How to get here?” page and the video
from the “The Grand Site” page because the information is available in the adjacent content.
