On Monday February 13, the new Regional Prefect, Etienne Guyot, was welcomed by the president of the Syndicat mixte, Nathalie Le Yondre as well as the elected members of the union committee Karine Desmoulin and Patrick Davet. The State representative was able to observe the progress of the work on the reception area and the village of cabins. He was able to become aware of the proximity of the fire and the work of the firefighters in July 2022. Etienne Guyot was particularly attentive to the request for support from the Syndicat mixte in the face of future investments.
The President and the Prefect were also able to discuss the “Grand Site de France” labeling file on which the Syndicat mixte and its partners are currently working. This label aims to recognize management in accordance with the principles of sustainable development, reconciling the preservation of the landscape and the "spirit of the place", quality of visitor reception, participation of inhabitants and partners in the life of the Grand Site.
