The staircase facilitating access to the Dune is installed (as a reminder, it is dismantled every year, the Dune is mobile and it would be buried by winter storms)! It has approximately 140 steps. You can of course continue to climb the Dune by the sand. Please be sure to respect the regulations on this fragile natural area 
and bring back your waste (picnic, paper, etc.).
To prevent it from getting completely buried in sand during the winter, the staircase is dismantled in the winter. Indeed, we quickly forget that the highest dune in Europe is mobile and moves 1 to 5 meters inland each year, mainly as a result of storms and their strong winds that carry sand.
The redeveloped cabin village welcomes you, the services (restaurants and cultural shops and the information point) are open every day !
