A look back at the landscaped walk between the dunes and the forest on Saturday, June 28, organized for the 50th anniversary of the Conservatoire du littoral.

To celebrate its 50th anniversary, the Conservatoire du littoral is organizing a series of events with natural area managers dedicated to key issues for the future of the coasts (resilience and adaptation of territories to climate change, protection of living things, public reception, etc.). These meetings, scheduled throughout 2025 throughout the territory, are aimed at professionals, experts, enthusiasts, as well as the general public and residents.

Conceived by the Aquitaine Delegation of the Coastal Conservatory and the Joint Syndicate of the Grande Dune du Pilat, the walk was an opportunity to meet Alain FREYTET, renowned landscape consultant of the Coastal Conservatory and the Network of Great Sites of France.

During this landscape hike, Alain Freytet shared his sensitive vision of the Dune landscape, impacted by the 2022 fire, and his expertise. Participants were able to learn about writing and drawing in the field, between dunes and forest. The walk continued with a snack offered by the organizers and a friendly picnic break.
