For the 5th year, the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region invites you to come and meet nature on the occasion of 2 days of free activities open to all, in nearly 50 natural sites of the territory.
See you on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 September 2022 to live an experience in contact with nature: discovery hike during the day or in the evening of the fauna, flora, geology, storytelling walk, exhibition, treasure hunt... There is something for all tastes and all ages !
Originality of this event, the public is invited to participate in the management of natural environments, through “Nature Workshops” and inventories to learn to recognize and preserve the natural environments, fauna and flora of our region.
How was the landscape of the Dune du Pilat formed over time? What fragile lives shelter this mountain of sand? What threats weigh on this unique natural environment?
The Grand Site of the Dune du Pilat invites you to discover the history of the Dune, the animals and plants that live in this fragile ecosystem through two small " workshops and secret boxes of the Dune!
Take the opportunity to learn more about this classified and protected natural site, which is the richness of the natural heritage of New Aquitaine.
