Plants of sand and wind: the wild flora of the Dune du Pilat
In partnership with the South Atlantic National Botanical Conservatory.
On the occasion of the International Day of
biodiversity, Come and observe the fragile coastal flora up close. You will discover its characteristics and learn to better protect it.

JUNE
Better understanding post-fire naturalist monitoring
In partnership with European Pond Turtle Nature.
Following the fires of summer 2022 which severely impacted the forest adjacent to the Dune du Pilat, the Syndicat Mixte de la Dune du Pilat has launched a important ecological monitoring work on the Grand Site. These inventories allow us to better understand how nature regenerates itself and adapt site management over time.

Observe, understand and protect
In partnership with the Arcachon Basin Marine Natural Park .
On the occasion of the World Ocean Days,
The Joint Syndicate and the PNMBA will discuss the various monitoring programs they are conducting to improve knowledge and better protect the environments and species that live there.

Bird migration
In partnership with the Banc d'Arguin National Nature Reserve .
During this event dedicated to migration, come and discover and better understand migratory routes as well as the essential issues for the protection of our feathered friends.
