In these particularly difficult circumstances with the ongoing firesđ„, the Syndicat Mixte de la Grande Dune du Pilat wishes to express its full support to the firefighters, rescue services, security forcesâŠengaged on the ground, as well as to all the affected and evacuated people.
We express our full solidarity with the relevant authorities and all those involved who have been mobilized for several days to protect people and property, organize evacuations, coordinate emergency response measuresâŠ
Even though the Dune du Pilat visitor center remains open, we encourage you to stay home and limit your travel so as not to block roads and not to congest traffic in order to ensure quick and safe access for emergency services and security services.
